Product Backlog Composition
Report Description
The Product Backlog Composition report shows the Product Backlog Items in the context of the Release Plan and
how they relate to Sprint Tasks. This report is useful for locating orphaned Sprint Tasks; those not allocated to a
Sprint or associated with a linked "Parent" Product Backlog item for which it is contributing part of its implementation.
If Sprint Tasks have been allocated to a Sprint, but not linked to a Product Backlog Item, these are shown
under the heading Orphaned within their respective Release and Sprint sections.
If Sprint Tasks have not been allocated to a Sprint, but are linked to a Product Backlog Item, these are shown
in a separate subsection at the beginning of the report titled with the name of the team project. Each Sprint Task is
displayed along with its respective Product Backlog item.
If Sprint Tasks are neither allocated to a Sprint nor linked to a Product Backlog Item, these are displayed
under the heading Orphaned in the seperate subsection at the beginning of the report.
