Sprint Cumulative Flow
Report Description
This report shows a cumulative view of the Sprint Backlog over time by state. Useful information shown by this chart:
- A view of how the total work to deliver a Sprint is changing over time
- The rate at which the team are completing the Sprint Backlog
- The amount of work In Progress at any time
It is quite common for teams to start many pieces of work and leave them "90% complete" in an un-testable state, rather than rapidly cycling work
from In Progress through Ready For Test and finally to Done. This chart will surface this issue by showing a wide swath of
In Progress and Ready For Test tasks open at a single point in time.
Another common issue illustrated by this chart is a long delay between the team starting working on tasks and getting them ready to be tested.
